Description: National Information Locations used in delivering the Bureau's flood warning service. Selection of Information locations and associated metadata from the Bureau's flood gauge network hydrological database.Information locations are those gauges which have a Flood Class Level (FCL) of minor, moderate and major flooding. They are in place in SLS in Schedule 3 for each state and territory. SES and the community use them for flood preparedness and impacts. In flood forecasting they are used in referencing for some catchments in warnings as well in some states.
