It is new feature class created by the Bureau in order to distinguish specific kinds of stream segments and their relationship in the stream network. The AHGFNetworkNodes are distinguished by specific subtypes. NetworkJunctionNode: represents the confluence of any two or more AHGFNetworkStream segments. NetworkTerminusNode: represents the end of any AHGFNetworkStream segment (either into a coastal outlet or inland sink). NetworkArtificialNode: represents the start or end of any artificial AHGFNetworkArtificialFlowSegment NetworkWaterAreaNode: represents the entry or exit of a AHGFNetworkStream into or of a AHGFWaterbody or AHGFHydroArea feature. NetworkGhostNode: currently a placeholder for building spatial relationships to Monitoring Points. This is the only NetworkNode feature which does not physically break the stream segment network. NetworkHeadNode: the starting point of any AHGFNetworkStream segment feature. NetworkCliffNode: represent the locational break of a AHGFNetworkStream segment intersection with a Cliffline.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
